Our party begins at the Lost Tower as they realize their witnessing of the end of Atlantis is a false vision. They are greeted by Farijahd and a mysterious boy-mage. Farijahd explains that their vision and journey to the Tower shows a second attempt by Limnoch the Exarch to obtain the Supernal Keys for foul purposes. Farijahd says that Master Telfas of the Mysterium and Raji the Brooding, head of the Empyrean Wardens must be told and a course of action decided upon.
The party travels to the Ars Draconis and seeks audience with Telfas. It is here the the mysterious mage, now revealed to be the Amnesia-riddled Kryxsus, begins to gather back some memories of his past.
Telfas says that Limnoch was taught my Master Avandar, who seems to also be the one who eradicated the memory of Kryxsus. More disturbingly he senses the hand of the so-called “Dragon” Thevetat and his travelling companion Eibon in these matters. It is decided that Telfas will head to Atlantis to confront Master Atlan and Limnoch, and that the party will investigate both Thevetat’s past and this Master Avandar.
In their rooms, Telfas sends word that a secret traveller has come to the Ars Draconis seeking the party. They head to the Skyport to investigate and quickly find out that a lone female warrior arrived seeking them. Sen-Jan and Kryxsus investigate the ship while Ricord seeks the female herself.
Aboard the ship, Kryxsus runs in terror as a rage spirit is revealed with his mage sight. Sen-Jan feels with his psychic senses all he can, and comes a cross a strange silver orb. He touches it briefly revealing a spiked hovering ball of death. He cracks its outer shell with his celestial fires only to see a reptiles eye that quickly begins transforming his very flesh with dragon runes. He is able to best the undead eye and free himself of its curse.
Meanwhile Ricord comes face to face with the deadly Miko, a Dragons Disciple from Khitai as she desecrates books relating to Thevetat’s past in Lumeria. A confrontation ensues and Ricord fears the worst, until the destruction of her Dragons Eye weakens her, exposing her to Ricord’s foulest trick, The Geis.
He interogates her and turns her over to the Mysterium where the punishment for book desecration is death.
Our party now stands at a crossroads; investigate Master Avandar and reclaim Kryxsus’ past, or seek the legend of Thevetat before his assassins can succeed in their death…
